The blue-headed racket-tail (''Prioniturus platenae'') also known as the Palawan racket-tail, is a parrot found in the western Philippines around Palawan. It is 27–28 cm, basically green with a bright, light blue head, blue underwings (except for green coverts) and, in the male, bluish breast. The beak is bluish gray and iris is yellowish. It inhabits humid lowland forest in small flocks, but is threatened by habitat destruction and trapping for the cage-bird trade. Note: formerly considered conspecific with blue-crowned racket-tail, ''P. discurus''. ==References== * Juniper & Parr (1998) ''Parrots: A Guide to Parrots of the World''; ISBN 0-300-07453-0. 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Blue-headed racket-tail」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
